Remote Education Resource Center
With many of our K-12 educators trying to find ways to provide learning support and online education to their students while schools are closed, I’ve had the opportunity to work with an amazing team of volunteers in the School of Education at the University at Albany. I built this website over the last few weeks with the materials curated by the students, professors and administrators, and I’m working on training other people in the project to work on the site so that we are better able to keep adding more resources as time goes on. Our project will keep growing, but I’m proud of what we’ve built together, and I can’t wait to see how we can continue to grow these resources in the future!

This program was based on a curriculum plan I wrote combining civic engagement learning with web development. Students created fictitious candidate web pages and developed final projects designed to address the needs they experience within their communities.
