For my Systematic Design of Instruction class, I’m designing a “mini-course” called How to Teach Kids to Code (Even if You’re Not Sure How to Code Yourself!) Our courses are designed with other teachers in mind, and since I’ve talked to so many teachers about how they can support their students in learning to code, this felt like the right topic for my project.

I’m using Scratch as the backbone for the course, so I figured I may as well use Scratch to build some fun quizzes and interactive assessments. What better way to demonstrate the value of Scratch projects for learning than to use Scratch projects for learning?

So here’s the first one of my projects, a drag and drop quiz for sorting different activities according to the kind of computational reasoning being used!
